If you love glucosamine and chondroitin for your knees, how would you like to increase their effectiveness by 25%? Well, according to a new study, you can do just that.

In this study, researchers divided 90 generally healthy people into three groups. The first group received the placebo. Then they gave the other two groups 750 mg of glucosamine and 200 mg of chondroitin sulfate every day. But one of these groups also received 110 mg per day of calcium fructoborate. Calcium fructoborate is a proprietary mineral complex of boron, calcium, and fructose.

The study went on for 14 days. Then the researchers used the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) and the McGill pain questionnaire to evaluate changes in pain and mobility. The results in the researchers own words: “Data from our study clearly indicate that short-term use of calcium fructoborate in combination with chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine was effective in reducing knee discomfort and improving the physical mobility of the joints." In fact, it helped the general health and mobility of the joints by 24%. And it improved joint pain by 25% over the glucosamine and chondroitin alone.

That's very impressive. You already know how effective glucosamine and chondroitin are. They've been on the market for years because they work. Now you can improve their effectiveness in a highly significant way simply by adding calcium fructoborate. And you can get this combination in a new formula from Advanced Bionutritionals called Ultimate Knee Relief.

I think this is the best joint product on the market. In addition to this combination, it also has white willow bark, which is fantastic for pain, and Meriva®, which helps heal the joint and control inflammation. So I think you'll see even better results than they saw in this study. I'll have more on these in future issues of Nutrient Insider.
