Migraines can be so painful and so frustrating. The pain is intense. It can nauseate you and temporarily take your eyesight. And they're frustrating because there are so many possible causes, it can seem impossible to find your trigger. But researchers from Turkey might help you narrow down the possibilities.
Researchers from Yuzuncu Yil University in Van, Turkey have uncovered a migraine cause that could explain why so many people can't figure out their trigger. And it could give you a way to stop the pain before it starts again.
To conduct the study, the researchers brought in 50 patients. Half of these patients had doctor-diagnosed chronic migraines. These 25 patients in the migraine group all spent time in a hospital for their pain. The other 25 participants didn't suffer from migraines. The participants didn't take any antioxidants or multivitamins prior to the study. They also didn't smoke, drink alcohol, abuse drugs, or have serious health conditions, other than the migraines.
With the groups determined, the researchers collected blood samples from both groups. Using atomic absorption spectrophotometry, they analyzed the samples and discovered something surprising.
Upon analysis, the researchers found that the migraine group all had higher levels of certain heavy metals in their blood compared to the control group. And the difference between the two groups wasn't small. The migraine sufferers had substantially higher levels of cadmium, iron, lead, and manganese.
Insulin’s Evil Twin
This overlooked hormone might be the real reason you still struggle with out-of-control blood sugar. But most doctors (even alternative doctors) ignore it completely.

But that's not all they found. The researchers noticed that the migraine group was deficient in copper, magnesium, and zinc.
The fact that the two conditions happened together isn't surprising. When your body becomes deficient in certain trace minerals, it compensates by grabbing other minerals with similar atomic configurations. These minerals don't help the body function as well as the beneficial minerals. In fact, they can greatly harm your metabolism and cause fatigue, inflammation, and now migraines.
So if toxic metals are causing your migraines, the solution is quite easy. It's called chelation therapy. When most people think of chelation therapy, they think of the IV EDTA chelation therapy. It's the best and most efficient form of chelation. But it can get expensive.
There's also an oral form of chelation. The most effective I've seen is PectaSol Detox Formula. This product is so powerful, it can trap and remove significant amounts of toxins in as little as 24 hours! So it's a great place to start.
If neither of these helps rid you of migraines, there's another option. It's Detoxamin, a chelation suppository that can often pull out more toxins than oral formulas, but it's much cheaper than IV chelation. I told you about Detoxamin last year. It's incredibly effective. You can order Detoxamin by calling 801-854-2718 and give them the coupon code SAVE to save 10%.
Once you remove the toxic minerals, you need to replace the beneficial trace minerals with a good multivitamin, such as Healthy Resolve. Detoxification and supplementation could save you from the pain of future migraines.
