Herb Stops Blood Cancer From Spreading

February 16, 2018

What you're about to read is an amazing story. It's the first time conventional doctors have ever seen myeloma stabilize using an herb. Myeloma is a deadly blood cancer. Most people who contract it don't live more than five years. But Dieneke Ferguson of the UK more than just survived, she managed to stop the progression of the disease. And today, 11 years after her initial diagnosis, her cancer cell count is negligible. Her story has been in international headlines for weeks. And here's why:

Dieneke Ferguson had gone through three rounds of chemotherapy and four stem cell transplants. These conventional treatments weren't having any effect on the progression of the disease. It was causing her back pain to increase and she had already suffered a second relapse. She was going to die. But instead of giving up, she simply stopped all conventional treatment and began taking 8 grams of curcumin every day.

Curcumin is one of the main compounds of turmeric, which I've written about extensively. The herb is absolutely one of the best supplements you can take - whether you have cancer or not. Most of us don't need 8 grams per day. That's a lot. And it can get expensive. The 67-year-old Mrs. Ferguson was paying about $70 every 10 days for the pills. But you can't argue with her results.

Even her conventional docs, from Barts Health NHS Trust in London, were astounded. They wrote in the British Medical Journal Case Reports: "To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report in which curcumin has demonstrated an objective response in progressive disease in the absence of conventional treatment." What bothered them was that the curcumin worked without any assistance from standard antimyeloma therapy.

Insulin’s Evil Twin

This overlooked hormone might be the real reason you still struggle with out-of-control blood sugar. But most doctors (even alternative doctors) ignore it completely.

Of course, alternative and complementary doctors see results like this all the time. Alternative therapies, without the help of conventional cancer therapies, have cured many people. But conventional docs in the U.S. just ignore it. They never write the stories up in medical journals. And if they try, most journals won't publish it.

This case is a bit different, though. Even most alternative docs won't recommend stopping all treatment but one herb. Most cancer treatments require a multi-pronged approach. So this is an unusual case. And a very exciting one.

Mrs. Ferguson's case can teach all of us a good bit about keeping cancer at bay. She still takes curcumin daily. She doesn't need 8 grams a day anymore. Instead, to keep the cancer from returning, she takes a more standard (and affordable) dose.

I encourage everyone to take curcumin/turmeric on a daily basis. More than 50 studies since 2000 show that this powerful herb is not only great for fighting cancer, but it's also good for treating Alzheimer's and dementia, heart disease, arthritis, and depression. And it can help speed recovery after surgery. So it's a good herb to have in your system daily. The only trouble with curcumin and turmeric is that it can be hard to absorb. That's why I recommend taking Reduloxin, which has a special form of turmeric that's 29 times more absorbable than the standard herb. I give this product to a lot of people and they love it.
