Diabetes is rampant these days. I've known several people in their 40s receiving the diagnosis. But I've also seen people take responsibility for their disease and get off their insulin. Tim, for instance, started running. He jogged his way off of insulin. Mike took a different route. He opted for gastric bypass surgery. Within weeks he was off all of his medications. Others have focused on diet to get off insulin. Whatever route you take, it's important you do so. That's because treating type-2 diabetes with insulin is more dangerous than not treating it at all.
