Heidi had Irritable Bowel Syndrome for over 15 years. She suffered from pain, fatigue, diarrhea, and more.
It was so bad she couldn’t even go to work.
By the time she saw me, she had tried everything. And she was desperate.
I recommended that she try an herb most people have never heard of. So she did. And much to her amazement, she started feeling results within minutes!
Within a week, her bowel function became almost normal. Her fatigue improved, too. She still had some pain, but she felt so much better that she was able to return to work.
So she continued taking the herb. In a few weeks, her pain was totally gone. And in a few months, she was able to stop taking her last prescription medication.
Her gastroenterologist was astonished. He said “Whatever it is you’re doing, keep doing it!”
So what was this amazing herb that made Heidi’s symptoms vanish? It was a special form of cat’s claw called samento.
Samento comes from Peru, where it’s been used for generations to treat arthritis, rheumatism, diabetes, and even cancer.
Modern science confirms the power of this amazing herb. Studies show that it has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties.
It fights all kinds of germs. It even fights spirochetes, the corkscrew-like organisms that cause diseases like syphilis and Lyme disease.
Indeed, it is in the treatment of Lyme disease that we see the real power of samento. Doctors have been using it to treat Lyme disease for years and they’ve sometimes seen miraculous results.
In fact, they’ve found that samento can sometimes work better than antibiotics for Lyme.
Reason: Antibiotics can kill spirochetes, but they can’t kill round bodies and biofilm, two associated pathogens that make persistent Lyme disease extremely difficult to cure. Samento kills all three.
So what does this have to do with stomach problems?
Well, many Lyme patients suffer from stomach problems. They suffer from pain and bloating. They suffer from nausea and vomiting. They suffer from constipation and diarrhea.
Doctors treating Lyme patients noticed their patients’ stomach problems were getting better. So they wondered, could samento treat stomach problems in non-Lyme patients?
It turns out, the answer is yes. Case studies show that samento can treat:
• Nausea
• Gastritis (inflammation of the stomach)
• Leaky gut syndrome
• Irritable Bowel Syndrome
• Crohn’s disease
• Diverticulitis
• Ulcerative colitis
• Hemorrhoids
• Ulcers
• Parasites
But that’s not all. Doctors have found that it works on more common problems, such as food poisoning, gastritis, hiatal hernias, and even many reflux disorders.
And they also found it kills serious stomach infections like H. pylori, staphylococcus, shigella, salmonella, and even E. coli.
Could Samento Work for You?
I’ve seen samento cure all manner of digestive ailments, big and small. The chances are good it would work for whatever problems are ailing you.
But you have to make sure you use samento and not regular cat’s claw. Regular cat’s claw has chemicals called TOAs (tetracyclic oxindole alkaloids). TOAs inhibit the active agents of cat’s claw.
In fact, relatively small amounts of TOAs can reduce the medicinal ability of cat’s claw by about 80%. And, since many of the products available on the market contain significant amounts of TOA, they’re virtually ineffective.
Samento, on the other hand, is either TOA-free or almost TOA-free. (Some products do have 3% alkaloids, which is fine.)
There are many places you can purchase samento. Two sources I trust are: NutriCology (www.nutricology.com – search for Prima Una de Gato II) and Nutramedix (www.nutramedix.com – search for Samento).
If you don’t have severe illness, only the occasional problems, take samento on an as-needed basis. I find that the liquid form is good for this purpose. All you have to do is take a drop or two in water on an empty stomach up to three times a day.
If you have severe or chronic stomach issues, you may have to take it for longer periods of time. The usual dose starts with three 600 mg capsules of samento twice a day for 10 days. Then you can decrease the dose to a maintenance dose of two 600 mg capsules twice a day.
By the way, samento is so strong it could cause something called a Herxheimer reaction. This occurs when pathogens die off quickly and leave behind toxins that your body can’t clear fast enough.
You’ll know you’re having a Herxheimer reaction if you feel worse than you did before taking the samento.
To fix it, lower your dose and take it a little slower. Your body will naturally fix the problem. Then, when you’re feeling better, gradually increase the dose to the recommended level.
Whether you have only mild stomach issues or severe stomach disease, give samento a try. Be sure to let me know how it works for you.
