Older Adults With Arthritis Need Just 45 Minutes of Activity per Week

Federal guidelines suggest achieving 150 minutes of moderate activity per week to prevent premature death and serious illness. Northwestern Medicine researchers wanted to determine if there was a less overwhelming activity goal that would be a “minimum” activity level. The number they came up with was 45 minutes per week.
